News & Events for Feb 18-24

Communion Juice:

For the last several years, Marie Twining has prepared the juice for communion. She is ready to hand over that responsibility. If you are willing and able to come in twice a month and pour juice into little cups (we even have a handy bottle to make it easier!), please contact the office.

Awana Snacks:

The donations for Awana snacks have been SO helpful! If you are interested in donating, we are still in need of juice boxes. Capri Sun strawberry kiwi flavored juice pouches are ideal. If you are able, drop them off in the kitchen and we will put them to use! Thank you!

Sanctuary Expansion Helpers:

We are looking for volunteers to help expand the sanctuary on Saturday March 24, 2018. We will be taking out the wall and putting up new drywall, etc., starting at 7 AM. Sign up on the bulletin board.

BUILD Men’s Conference:

T4G Conference:

Together for the Gospel is holding a conference Apr 11th-13th in Louisville KY and you’re invited! James, Bryan, and Joe are attending the conference. There is an info card available on the Welcome Center. Visit for more information and let the pastors know if you’re interested.

Baby Bottle Blessing:

Baby bottles were due last Sunday! Empty or full, if you still have a bottle at home, please bring it in to the office this week!

We will be having a special night here at the church on Friday, Mar 2nd at 7:00. Please invite friends and bring a snack to share. We will be playing bingo, winning great prizes, having a lesson and just fellowshipping with each other! Please sign up on the bulletin board in the back and talk to Gina Sharpe with questions.

Elders Forum:

Sunday, Mar 4th, during the Sunday Bible class hour. This will be a time for the membership to have a Q&A with Joe Schmidt.

Safety & Security Team:

The Deacon Board has been working through safety procedures for RCC in case of emergencies. One need for these procedures is the development of a Safety & Security team made up of members of RCC. If you are interested in being part of this team please plan on attending a meeting on Monday, Mar 5, at 6:30 PM. Contact Chad Carlson, Jay Goodrich, or Dave Rakosky for more information.

Please keep watch on your children and encourage them not to run through the hallways or in the Fellowship Hall. We have several older folks who aren’t as steady or quick on their feet as they once were and children don’t always watch where they are going. We want everyone to be safe and enjoy their time together.
