News & Events for Nov 20-16
Children’s Christmas Program Help:
We need people for set building, costumes coordination and a small role for an adult male. Talk to Ruthie Eilers to help with this. We also need a few parents to help with rehearsals. Just show up with your kids if you can help!
Community Thanksgiving Dinner:
On Thanksgiving Day, we will serve our annual turkey dinner from 12:30-2:30 PM. Sign up to help and for the dinner.
Awana Helpers Needed:
We need volunteers to help with Awana! Talk to Gina Sharpe.
We need drivers for the Lock-In (Dec 9-10). Contact Joe Schmidt.
Christmas Giving Tree:
The tree for mittens, hats, gloves, socks, and new and/or gently used clean blankets will be up next Sunday. Please place your items on the table in the Fellowship Hall by Dec 13th. Items will be given away at the Community Christmas Party on Dec 14th.
Community Christmas Party:
Wednesday, Dec 14th, at 6 PM. We need LOTS of help, especially from families with children (to mingle with the community children). We need cookie bakers, cookie servers, game coordinators, and much more! See Amelia at the sign up table in the Fellowship Hall.
Jr & Sr High students are invited to attend. Dec 9th-10th (9:30 PM-6 AM) at the 3 Mile Project in Grand Rapids. Cost is $5 per student. Sign up materials, including consent and medical form, will be available in the youth room.
Still need to fulfill your 2015-16 Faith Promise? Just mark your giving 2016 Faith Promise and it will be credited to the correct year.
Please get us your winter address and the dates you will leave and return! Also, let us know if you would like bulletins and/or sermon CDs while you are gone.
For the Christmas Program on Dec 11th. Rehearsal TODAY, in the sanctuary, at 4 PM. Anyone who is interested in singing please attend.
Let us know that you’re here!
Please put your attendance cards in the basket by the mailboxes. Or fill out the visitor tab and put it in the offering plate.
Please keep watch on your children and encourage them not to run through the hallways or in the Fellowship Hall. We have several older folks who aren’t as steady or quick on their feet and children don’t always watch where they are going. We want everyone to be safe and enjoy their time together.
Hymn of the Month:
The Hymn of the Month is “Our Great Savior”. For more information on this hymn go to bit.ly/OurGreatSavior
