News & Events for Sep 3-9

Awana Volunteers:

Wednesday, Sep 6th (6:00 pm) is our last Dress Rehearsal/Walk-through.  If you weren’t able to be here this past Saturday, please plan to attend and find out all you need to know to prepare for the year ahead. More volunteers are still needed! Talk to Shannon or Gina Sharpe with questions.

Food Pantry Helpers:

We always need helpers in the food pantry. Even if you’re already helping or have signed up in the past, please sign up on the bulletin board so that we know who is willing to help. We especially need people who are able to pick up food. Thank you!

Looking for Timeout (formerly MOPS) helpers!

Timeout begins Tuesday, Sep 26th. We will have a short informational meeting Sep 10th right after the church service at the front of the sanctuary. Please come if you are interested in serving. See Angela Hysell or Erin O’Connell with questions.

Women’s Retreat:

The women’s retreat is Sep 29th-Oct 1st. We will have open registration today and Sep 10th after the morning service. The full payment is due at that time: $124 for over-nighters and $89 for commuters. Please bring cash or your checkbook. Financial assistance is available, if needed. Spots are limited!!! Talk to Gina Sharpe with any questions.

Picture Directory:

Even if you haven’t signed up, please stop by the Resource Room and get your pictures taken for the directory. We want all the members and regular attenders of RCC to be represented!

Men’s Breakfast:

The September Men’s Breakfast Fellowship is canceled. We will start up on Oct 14th!

Men’s Bible Study:

Men’s Bible study will resume at 6 PM on Sep 13th. Please join us as we study the Parables and learn to apply Bible principles to our lives. Contact Larry Jancek for more information.

Membership Classes:

Sunday, Sep 17th & 24th and Oct 1st, during the Sunday Bible Class hour. All three classes required for membership. Please sign up on the main bulletin board.

Thank you!

Many thanks to those who provided food for the Open House. We didn’t run out this year!

Thank you:

to all who brought food and/or helped with Marian Gary's memorial service. You honored her and blessed her loved ones!

Projects List:

There is a list of church projects on the bulletin board in the narthex. If you can complete any of these projects or if you know of other things that need doing, please contact Ryan Ransom.
