Awana needs volunteers! Awana begins again Sep 19th and we need a ton of volunteers! Please begin praying about your role this year! Mark your calendar for our training/walk-through night THIS Wednesday, Sep 12th at 6:00 p.m. Please talk to Shannon or Gina Sharpe with questions, for more information or if you need convincing!

Awana snack donations were so helpful last year! Please consider donating again. Goldfish crackers and Capri Sun juice pouches (strawberry kiwi) are the ideal donations. There will be a table in the fellowship hall for the donations. Thank you for being a part of this ministry!

Beginning immediately, Dick Paxson is taking a sabbatical as an elder. For the next three months or so, please contact one of the pastors or other elders (see the list on the back of the bulletin) with your church related needs (he will still be running the prayer meeting.) Please pray that this will be refreshing and restorative time for Dick and Fran.

Ladies: There are still spots available for our annual Women’s Retreat at Grace Adventures, Sep 28-30. The cost is $129 for overnighters and $99 for commuters. Talk to Gina Sharpe with questions, for financial assistance, and for instructions on how to register.

Forever Young Luncheon: Are you over the age of 55? If so, please join us THIS Thursday, Sep 13th, at noon for a meal, followed by a program with Voices 8. There is no charge; a freewill offering will be taken. Sign up on the bulletin board. Under age 55? Come midmorning to help with the prep, serving and/or cleanup!

Membership Class: Interested in membership at RCC? Just want to know more about us? The next membership classes are scheduled for Sep 12th and 19th (from 6-7:30 PM). Sign up on the bulletin board or contact the office if you are interested in attending.

Muskegon Pregnancy Services presents “Redeeming the Dream. Life Worth Defending” with speaker Dr. Alveda King, niece of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Thursday, Oct 4, 7-9PM at the Frauenthal Theater. Tickets are available at a discount rate of $20.00 through Kelli Ritter after the service today in the Fellowship Hall.
